Why can't Samsung think of their own advertisements?

They literally copy everything from Apple. A bunch of losers

    From the article:
As CNET noticed, Samsung’s latest video ad – showing off the 4K video recording capabilities of its latest devices – is titled ‘Captured on Samsung Galaxy S7.’ Not quite as catchy as ‘Shot on iPhone,’ admittedly, but clearly inspired by the latter …

Both the iPhone 6s and Samsung S7 offer the same choice of 4K video at 30fps or 1080p at 60fps, so there’s no differences in the capabilities.

There is, however, one difference between the two ad campaigns. While the ‘Shot on iPhone’ ads use photos and videos shot by customers, the Samsung video appears to be professionally shot, some of the videos clearly using either helicopters or drones, so perhaps not the most like-for-like comparison.

The most recent ‘Shot on iPhone’ campaign is a football-focused one timed to coincide with the UEFA European Football Championship.

Like? This and next year's iphones not even out. But I'm pretty sure Samsung will have 4 stereos on their tablets or 3D touch in their phones soon.

OP, you are new to this aren't you ? Advertisement ? Who cares.

As the member above pointed out, Apple does not have water proofing, does not have a sim slot, or offers 32 gb memory, samsung does, Apple does not have wireless charging or a curved screen, or OLED screen, fast focus, and a bunch of other stuff. Apple in my opinion will have these later, and that will be catching up to Samsung, and some other manufactures. Than Samsung will have even more with the S8 Galaxy that Apple will not have. So why the rant ? Who cares about the advertisement.

Edit: Forgot about the f1/7 lens and apple has only a f/2.2 lens. And Apple may copy this someday

    No hyperbole in this statement.

Posters' right, pretty blatant copy if not really relevant.

Both phones take really good pics. I see no problem with Samsung doing ads on the camera.

I'll leave the debate of who copies whom to the others...one thing that is clear is the iPhone no longer leads the pack when it comes to innovation much less the "higher end" features.

Amoled screens, waterproofing, wireless charging...all these features are already on the competitions phones and still have yet to appear on the iPhone.

The 6s had water resistance prior to "water proofing"; amoled screens and wireless charging; meh.

It’s only “meh” because the iphone doesn’t have it. In reality they are great features to have on a daily basics and useful. Lets not forget super fast charging as well which kills the iphone in charging time.

once apple gets this in place it will be seen as the best thing ever

No, it's Meh because if those "features" we're so overwhelmingly important my phone would be an S7.

As far as charging time, it's less of an issue with plugging it in as I can actually charge the phone and use it at the same time.

But I can see where this going now.

That's up to you but to dismiss such features is pointless really seeing as they are handy to have and will likely be main selling points I imagine for the iPhone in 2017

sure they are handy to have, but don't over-aggrandize them. Apple will likely never include wireless charging. Hopefully their oled, when implemented, won't give me a headache.

Apple doesn't include "features" just to add to a spec sheet. I agree wireless charging will be included at some point but there will be some twist that makes it unique.

Water resistance is a far cry from waterproofing.

The iPhone still remains a great phone, but technology-wise, it lags behind somewhat.

At least they could come up with their own slogan rather than just changing one word (to something that barely even sounds like market speak).
    --- Post Merged, Jun 20, 2016 ---
It's one thing to use technology and features that are popular and aren't company specific really (widgets or waterproofing isn't exactly invented by Samsung or specifically associated with them, for example), it's another thing to use an obvious slogan that was designed by a company and is specifically associated with them and rather blatantly just change a single word and throw it back out there.

Heck, I think they should've used the same word :D

I mean, why tip-toe around using an incredibly common phrase just because someone else did? Apple is not the first to ever use "Shot On (fill in the blank)", after all.

This is like one car company putting out a magazine ad with "Road Test of the ABC" as the title, and everyone else trying to come up with a non-"Road Test" title. Why bother?

It's not the phrasing that necessrily has to be unique or anything like that, it's how it's used and what association it has or gets. "Just do it" is a common phrase not necessarily associated with anything, but in the world of sporting apparel it lets say Adidas showed a commercial and said "Just do it" or something extremely similar, certainly most would not be making that association with them.

    Are you kidding me?

Do you work at Apple or for Apple, to know more than anyone else about the next iPhone?

I wouldn't say unique but it will be 'perfected' when Apple implement it.
