.. They’re all included in the normal plan. Best Valentine’s Day news ever.

“Now TNT, TBS, CNN, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, HLN, truTV, and TCM are all included in your membership. (Yes, that means a LOT of basketball and more 24/7news.) Happy Valentine's Day!”

Happy Valentine’s Day indeed.

Been testing YouTube TV all weekend on my ATV4k and 4th gens...

AWESOME service. The quality and consistency is outstanding...

I've used and tested all of them and IMO, channel differences aside, just on performance and value, YTTV is really hard to beat, especially if you're into sports.

This morning i cancelled my service with Comcast Xfinity for 150mbps + X1 Cable Service which with taxes ended up being $160.00 USD a month.

I've signed up with AT&T Fiber for 100Mbps internet service for 40$ a month (i'm a cellular user as well as have a discount for service from my job).

I signed up for YouTube TV and i'm enjoying the app and trial with my chrome-cast, but my wife wants something with a remote to avoid using her iPhone to control the TV with. Would you recommend the Apple TV 4K and the YouTube TV app? Or should i cheap out with a Roku for the time being, until another price drop or promotion comes up with Apple TV?

Thanks :D

Is there still a directvnow promotion with the AppleTV 4K, where directvnow is free for 3 months if you buy the tv for $105? The remote is fine, I did put a rubber case on mine. Added benefit, you can use your iPhone or iPad as remote.

you can cancel the directvnow and it will run thru its promotional period before it cancels.

It's the opposite. You prepay DirecTV Now for 3 months, then you get the Apple TV 4K.

Apple TV 4K and the YouTube TV app?

YES!!
I just finished a full weekend of testing a variety devices with the different services.

The two best were by far YTTV & DTVnow and the runaway hardware winner was the ATV4K.

It's simply a powerhouse and blows away all the others in that area.
YTTV streams start nearly instantly and go to full quality in under a second on the ATV4k

It's very close to a cable tv like experience on the quality and responsiveness factors.

I picked up an Apple TV 4K 32GB and loving it! Thank you all for the recommendation.

We're using it for our living room, and i relegated the chromecast to our bedroom TV that barely gets touched.

A good option is a harmony remote.
