It is just as i expected, truly beautiful. It looks like the app icons only are on a black surface.

I'm going to try to get a better photo if I can borrow one of my family's iPhones, didn't bring my iPhone 7+ with my on my trip. But here are more, hopefully "better" not-so-clear photos taken from my 12" MacBook (I hope you know how terrible the camera is on the 12" by now...)

I’ve been screening some movies in my library on the X with some dark backgrounds in a pitch black room.

Movies like Gravity, Alien, The Force Awakens(light saber battles..omg), Tron:Legacy...just to name a few.

The movies definitely look better than my 7Plus in the same room.

The big shocker was seeing my X rebooting next to my 6S Plus in a dark room.

The 6S Plus was a huge glowing grey rectangle with an Apple logo in the middle, the X was JUST the Apple logo, stark white, floating in space.
I’ve envied that Samsung logo on black for a long time.
