50 percent used and like 9 percent accounted for in usage...interesting.

Don’t see how this is crazy. I get, on avg, 1 hour per 10 percent on my 6s plus on 10.3.3.

Where is the rest of the list? The top part of the attachment. Safari and messages are using 3%. Those shown items add up to 9%, where is the other 91%?

What is the battery life on the iPhone SE? How good is the ios 11.2 beta 4 on iphone SE

Great news, now hopefully all the iOS 10 holdouts will upgrade and join the party. iOS 11 really is a fantastic OS.

Not surprised battery life is good on new phones. The problem has always been with the older devices. Now that people are reporting that Apple no longer signs 10.3.3 for 6s, I'm not upgrading mine until I see a 30-pages-long thread with owners of older devices confirming that the battery drain problem has been solved. Can you hear me, Apple?

Never happen even if it is true- people want to complain they don't want to say good things.
My 6s was great battery on IOS 11 - even to the point where I considered not getting an X. My 6s on IOS 11 was the fastest smoothest phone and IOS since the first days of iPhones. It obviously depends upon what you run and how you use your phone. My wife gets great battery life on her 8+.
If you went back on these forums you'd find the exact same complaints with IOS 10, 9, 8, 7, etc.

I fixed that sentence for you. You're welcome.

The problem is that Apple has a fixed deadline every year for iOS because of a new iPhone release. That leads to things being rushed and others things being pushed back

True, but we rarely see as many complaints about battery drain as with iOS 11 upgrade. There are also independent tests confirming the problem.

Regarding your experience with iOS 11 on 6s, what apps do you use? Twitter/Facebook?

Faster yes but smoother it cant be. My sister has SE brand new ( 3 days ) with ios 11.1.2 and i have iphone 6s 10.3.3 almost 2 years old. She cant see the diference. I can spot every lag and its annoying. There are people who are saying that their phone is now smother and faster compared with 10.3.3. Thats not true. They cant see the difference thats why.

Iphone 6s ( almost 2 years old, 10.3.3 ) is smother than Iphone SE ( 3 days old, 11.1.2)

SE is faster maybe , only 0.5 sec and that doesnt mind

There have been similar type of battery threads with almost every update, even bug fix updates in iOS 10.3.x days had battery threads.

Don't run Twitter or Facebook. I try not to run applications whose real purpose is to steal my data. Seriously, I suspect applications like that are a primary reason for bad performance and battery life. I'm not into social media all day long

First, it's not just Twitter or Facebook: once on iOS 11, a 20-minute walk using Apple Maps for directions ate 20% of my 6s battery.

Second, sorry for being rude, but I find these type of arguments ridiculous: "to improve your battery life, stop using your phone".

On iOS 10, I can use Twitter and Facebook as much as I like and still have a decent battery life. With iOS 11, I either have to drastically change how I use the phone or buy the most recent model. This is unacceptable when a software upgrade turns perfectly fine hardware barely usable.
