Oh, if veganism means "animal-derived products", that by absolute definition must include anything grown with fertilizer produced by animals, or even petrochemical fertilizers made from products that came from animals dozens of millions of years ago.

    In other words, "Oh ****"...

"The world would be a much safer place if we ate the animals that could eat us."

This has been my defining philosophy for the last 20 odd years. I mean, yeah, sure. Shark tastes terrible. But sometimes you have to suffer for your beliefs.

Never-mind the allegations of fraud and grand larceny (for not paying wait-staff, that's low.) BUT SHE ATE A CHEESE PIZZA!!!!1!!!!11!!!!

While this woman deserves her fair share of vitriol, the world doesn't need more schadenfreude directed at broader groups.

You got to boil the meat first, add lemon then grill with a salt and pepper rub.

Most people don't eat other people, barring extreme circumstances. This is something we should all adhere to, lest you risk a slippery slope situation where everyone is eating everyone else so they don't get eaten themselves.

Sick of in-your-face vegans? Ha, ha. Okaaaay.

Vegans are far more like to be targeted. When was the last time a vegan took the time to start thread here with the specific intent of bashing meat-eaters?

    ^^^^

If you are vegan, and you can't see how vegans are obnoxious about being vegan...

    you ARE the obnoxious vegan.

Is the term "obnoxious vegan" redundant?

What? I have eaten shark and it was good. I baked a sand shark in butter one time and it was delicious.

Vegans don't bother me. One because I have never seen one here in mexico, there are probably some in districto federal, and two because I am really good at ignoring people. (He says as he flips the aracherra).

I haven't seen them in awhile. They're either dead from malnutrition, or the Vegan Collective already got them.

I just can't imagine shark tasting good. I look at them, and think all it'll be is cartilage and gristle.

Maybe I should give it a try one day.

I think they get rounded up and sent back to the planet Vega, where they are fed old tires for six months.

I didn't think it would be either, but we fillet'ed it and baked it with butter. The cartilage and gristle disappeared, it was like there was nothing ever there. Maybe because it was a small, about a foot long one. It was actually very good, the friend I was with had done it before and said it was good. Less fishy tasting than a lot of fish. It turns off a lot of people because they are bottom feeders, but so are shrimp, lobsters, catfish, etc.

In that case we eat a lot of those. Beans can be a meal, huazontles, etc. Can't stay away from meat though, the daughter works in a barbecue place in DF while going to school, time for a trip.:) Porco Rosso

I hope this does not get me banned but there is another barbecue place there called "Pinche Gringo's", it's owned by a guy from the us.

Oh, I've eaten plenty of great vegetarian meals in my day. I like a good steak, but I'm not religious about it. I can have a few meals without having a meat side.

...though if I go to long without, I start getting all sensitive and caring. Emotions are scary.
