Hello,

how does one create Line Chart in Excel?
I have two series of data(one for X values, the other for Y values): just need to plot one in function of another and get ONE line. Instead, I'm getting EACH of the series plotted (as Y values) in function of number of lines of the spreadsheet. Tried to read Help section, still don't have an answer.
Thanks in advance

The way i understand you question, the answer would be to actually use the XY scatter option for your graph rather than the line chart option. You can have lines connecting the data points and you have the flexibility to choose the data in the "series" tab in the second window of the chart wizard.

Of course i may have totally read your question wrongly.

I think what you want is a scatter plot.
