Creating NEW Folders in iMovie 09??????

I can't create a new Folder in iMovie??????? I can create one but it puts it IN another Folder???? I hope this makes sense (i'm using iMovie 09) and ALL my Events are in Folders, if i create a new Event it auto puts it IN an existing Folder and if i create a new Folder it also puts it IN an existing Folder???? HELP ????
