The richest 1% need their cut kept too .
What a fowl man.
Sounds about right. "The middle class" is a myth invented by socialists. A proper economy needs only two things: an extreme minority who own everything, including the one-party government, and an extreme majority who are, in turn, owned, and do all the work.
Die middle class, Die.
What a crappy man.
More of a cock.
He seems to be quite the expert on chicken crap.
Wattle he excrete next?
Say what you will, but this sort of thing really impresses the chicks.
Brilliant analysis so far from the OP and the forum masses.
There. Now I'm on the same level as a high ranking Republican.
OP? What analysis did I provide other than to quote the article and provide a cite? Speaking of which, your analysis is "brilliant" too.
What's your take on the Mr. Boehner's statement?
Tell him to go **** himself and you'll be Vice President.
What is there to analyse, O master of the Libertarian universe? Some idiot using "colorful language" with no argument at all?
Yeah, just as your content filled, inspired post has illuminated the path to fiscal salvation for all time.
Yeah, that's the point. This is far from thread worthy. Why is this even a thread - especially since there is another thread (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1057922) on exactly the same topic. This can't possibly lead to a useful discussion.
Mods, we should probably combine these.
Go **** yourself Boehner.
Seriously, I don't see the reason why extending the tax cuts for the rich will hurt jobs. The only thing the Republicans can use is it hurts the abilities of small business owners who have to invest their own money to get run their business to hire people, but if they are in that situation and paying themselves more then $250,000 a year, then they need to cut their own freaking pay because you shouldn't be paying yourself that much money until their business's revenue starts to pay for its employees and operations.
For big corporations executives, etc the tax cut won't affect anything when it comes to hiring because the execs getting a tax cut won't start hiring more people simply because they are getting more money in their pockets and don't need to reinvest their paycheck into the company because the big corporation's revenue should pay for that. And if you need to hire, but your revenue can't support it, CUT YOUR OWN FREAKING PAY!!!!! Making millions a year I think they could still maintain their lifestyle if they shaved a few million off their paychecks.
The leader of his party just called tax cuts for the middle class chicken crap. That's thread worthy. The overall issue of tax cuts is the point of the other thread. The total jerk comment by the incoming speaker of the house and his opinions about tax cuts for most Americans, that's this thread.
Again... great politician. Anyone with a lick of common sense knows that what Boehner is talking about is the bill's lack of tax cuts for the rest of Americans. The 'Chicken Crap' is the fact that it only applys to select Americans - the rest of which would receive an automatic increase in taxation.
Anyone who suggests different is simply too confused or slow to understand basic contextual speech, or is willfully attempting to distort the words of Mr. Boehner in an attempt to distort the facts and score cheap political points. My guess is that you're the latter... you're too smart for the former.
fivepoint and others like him belive that if you can make a pile, you deserved to and there is no reason to keep any less than you could through your own exertions. There's nothing wrong with making enormous amounts of money (far, far, far above the average) and pushing for legislation to keep as much as possible regardless of any other social, politcal or economic factor.
If you consider great politicians to be liars.
I suppose it makes sense that libertarians are so enamored with politicians tied to the tobacco lobby, and politicians who are tight with lobbyists in general.
so basicly you want only the top 10% or so to get massive tax cuts and the rest to get next to nothing?
Maybe everyones salary should just be pooled and redistributed so that everyone makes 50k a year.
Being facetious of course.
Keep the tax cuts, dont penalize people for making gobs and gobs of money. People who make money, and get to keep their money end up spending more, which stimulates local economies, and allows employers to pay employees.
In many cases those wealthy people worked hard to get that wealth, and as such should be entitled to keep the fruits of their labor.
I also know that there is alot of inherited wealth out there, but big ***** deal, that persons ancestors probably worked their butts off so that their descendants could live comfortably.
For the poor people provide educational and job assistance..
This is also coming from someone who grew up close to the poverty level also.
Lastly, does no one realize that at some point everything that can be taxed is already taxed to the limit, and they wont be able to get anymore money???
Are you inebriated or a bit irrational that the Bush era tax cuts have now expired for the top 10%?
Nothing is hard to understand here. In fact really, we've not had a flat tax rate in the US anyways, so how is one more adjustment to the tax brackets all that unusual? It is simply those with the biggest cut of the pie are now going to pay for it.
