I was hanging out with my buddy and I had him do a speed test on his new iPhone 5. He got 17 Mbps downstream while we were sitting at bar in Brooklyn. My iPhone 4 right next to him:

    Test Date: Oct 14, 2012 5:51 PM
    Connection Type: Cellular
    Server: New York, NY
    Download: 2.14 Mbps
    Upload: 0.84 Mbps
    Ping: 148 ms

Crap! I can't wait for my iPhone 5 to show up.

You know network speed has nothing to do with phone speed. Lte > 3G.

    Huh?

The OP is talking about network speeds.

That has nothing to do with what he's talking about.
