Amazon and B&H Photo are discounting the latest versions of Apple's iPad Air this week, with each configuration of the tablet receiving a new all-time-low price tag. Amazon offers the largest variety of iPad Air models on sale, but you'll find many of the same prices at B&H Photo, as we've denoted in the list further down.

Sale prices start at $469 for the 64GB Wi-Fi iPad Air, down from $499, and also include cellular models. Each iPad Air in the sale has hit a new lowest-ever price, amounting to as much as $40 off select configurations. These models were recently updated in March, so we have yet to see deeper discounts.

    2019 iPad Air Sale

    [*]Wi-Fi, 64GB - $469, down from $499 [Amazon] ($30 off, lowest ever)
    [*]Wi-Fi, 256GB - $619, down from $649 [Amazon / B&H] ($30 off, lowest ever)
    [*]Cellular, 64GB - $599, down from $629 [Amazon / B&H] ($30 off, lowest ever)
[*]Cellular, 256GB - $739, down from $779 [Amazon / B&H] ($40 off, lowest ever) The new iPad Air models include a 10.5-inch Retina display, a Touch ID Home button, headphone jack, A12 Bionic processor, Apple Pencil support, and compatibility with the Smart Keyboard. The 2019 iPad Air devices have a light enclosure that's just 6.1mm thick and weighs about one pound, and have replaced the previous 10.5-inch iPad Pro in the same category.

Ugh I misread this as $40 off of 2019 AirPods. For one brief moment I felt like I was the luckiest man on the planet. Then reality slapped me in the face.

Microcenter have been selling the Air for $50 below list pretty much since day one. I assume they don't offer referrer commission, which is why everyone keeps claiming Amazon/BH are offering the best deals when they knock 30 or 40 dollars off.

"Lowest price ever" is a laughable phrase when used with an item that has only been on the market for a few months. Guess that's what the advertisers are paying for....

My iPad air 2 works fine still. At least I can use MS office on my iPad for free.

I had the air 2 and upgraded to the new air because I had the opportunity to do so at essentially no cost. It’s a nice upgrade, but you’re not missing out on that much (unless you want the keyboard/pencil). The air 2 remains excellent on iOS 12.

Junk keyboard? Apple’s 4th, or 5th, or 6th promise that this time they fixed the butterfly mechanism. For reals?

    No sale.

It’s amazing you can’t buy a quality laptop from Apple at any price.

Ya, i have 2 macs for real work. I only use the air for casual stuff. So far the air 2 is fine and i may only stick to the entry level ipad for the future since i don't need the horsepower beyond my need but i do need the free MS office to open some spreadsheets once in a while.

You gotta admire the fervor of a man who is denouncing junk MacBook keyboards on an iPad sales thread!

I'm only upgrading my iPads and will run my 2013 MacBook until Apple fixes (not patches) their keyboard issues.

What in the world are you talking about? This is a discussion for the iPad Air, and the photo is of an iPad and its keyboard case.

The laptop keyboard issue has literally nothing to do with this discussion.

Still a no. Anyone with half a brain would/should buy a refurb 10.5” Pro instead.
