delete app including all its settings? (macbook pro 10.15.7)

I have Macbook Pro with OS version 10.15.7

Downloaded an app (anki flashcards app) accidentally selected "japanese" for interface language (reflex click - that's what I wanted to study) .

Now of course I cannot navigate in the app since everything is in Japanese (can't find the place to change interface language etc.)

Tried deleting app - reload defaults to Japanese.

Online help said to click " command + " in order to access interface language selection screen but no response.

Is there a way to delete the app and undo this kind of setting?

Try deleting the app with this:

AppCleaner

And if feel daring, and know the name of the developer, can dig through your account's Library folder and find the preference files/folders and delete those.
