Deleting Bumptop

Hey guys...I am going to admit that I am pretty new at the whole iMac thing and the Mac OSX.. I need help deleting applications and programs...

I read somewhere that all you need to do is drag and drop the icon in the trash and it should be gone... Well I tried that with Bumptop and it didn't work...

I liked the program a lot and I thought it looked cool but I dont have enough icons on my desktop to run it and make use of it...

I dragged the icon to the trash but now I am stuck in Bumptop even with it in the trash..?? please help!

Did you try and close out the program, it's up by the clock. If you close it out you will go back to your normal desktop then you should be able to delete it.

lol...

I thought that i quit by cmd-q but apparently that didnt work...when i came back to my computer i saw the icon and quit and delete it lol...really did work..thanks.
