The FBI should not investigate the link between Trump and Russia because it might interfere with the election. After all, we don't want them to investigate Clinton as that may interfere with the election.

FBI Obtains Warrant Needed to Start Reviewing Emails Found on Laptop Used by Clinton Aide

    http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/fbi-...tart-reviewing-emails-found/story?id=43179164

Federal investigators looking into the Hillary Clinton email matter have obtained the warrant needed to start reviewing the emails found on a laptop used by Clinton aide Huma Abedin and her husband, Anthony Weiner.

FBI Obtains Warrant for Newly Discovered Emails in Clinton Probe — as Reid Accuses Comey of Hatch Act Violation

    http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/201...red-emails-clinton-probe-reid-accuses-n675411

The FBI obtained a warrant to search emails related to the Hillary Clinton private server probe that were discovered on ex-congressman Anthony Weiner's laptop, law enforcement officials confirmed Sunday.

The warrant came two days after FBI director James Comey revealed the existence of the emails, which law-enforcement sources said were linked to Weiner's estranged wife, top Clinton aide Huma Abedin.

    You don't have to imagine.
In 2007 Democrat William Jefferson who had been caught with $90,000 in FBI sting money in his freezer was appointed to the Homeland Security Committee by Nancy Pelosi.
The FBI raided his Congressional office and Pelosi criticized the FBI for violating separation of powers and demanded that all seized evidence be returned.

Too bad Hillary and Huma didn't just hand over all the email at the start. Then everything could be over by now.

Lol let them investigate. Seriously, if the FBI has any credible evidence that Donald is directing hacking operations through the Russian government go ahead.

And no, asking the Russians to provide the data they were able to obtain from ******** home brew server doesn't make Trump the centre of a Russian hacking syndicate.

These emails probably go way back and are likely unscrubbed, a treasure trove into the corruption of Hillary and the Clinton Foundation operations.

The Daily Mail, often a tabloidish source but at times has quality reporting. So this is somewhat believable, when paired with the recent Fox News report earlier this month.

EXCLUSIVE: Resignation letters piling up from disaffected FBI agents, his wife urging him to admit he was wrong: Why Director Comey jumped at the chance to reopen Hillary investigation

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...mped-chance-reopen-Hillary-investigation.html

James Comey's decision to revive the investigation of Hillary Clinton's email server and her handling of classified material came after he could no longer resist mounting pressure by mutinous agents in the FBI, including some of his top deputies, according to a source close to the embattled FBI director.

'The atmosphere at the FBI has been toxic ever since Jim announced last July that he wouldn't recommend an indictment against Hillary,' said the source, a close friend who has known Comey for nearly two decades, shares family outings with him, and accompanies him to Catholic mass every week.

'Some people, including department heads, stopped talking to Jim, and even ignored his greetings when they passed him in the hall,' said the source. 'They felt that he betrayed them and brought disgrace on the bureau by letting Hillary off with a slap on the wrist.'

FBI, DOJ roiled by Comey, Lynch decision to let Clinton slide by on emails, says insider

    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...-clinton-slide-by-on-emails-says-insider.html

The decision to let Hillary Clinton off the hook for mishandling classified information has roiled the FBI and Department of Justice, with one person closely involved in the year-long probe telling FoxNews.com that career agents and attorneys on the case unanimously believed the Democratic presidential nominee should have been charged.

The source, who spoke to FoxNews.com on the condition of anonymity, said FBI Director James Comey’s dramatic July 5 announcement that he would not recommend to the Attorney General’s office that the former secretary of state be charged left members of the investigative team dismayed and disgusted. More than 100 FBI agents and analysts worked around the clock with six attorneys from the DOJ’s National Security Division, Counter Espionage Section, to investigate the case.

“No trial level attorney agreed, no agent working the case agreed, with the decision not to prosecute -- it was a top-down decision,” said the source, whose identity and role in the case has been verified by FoxNews.com.

All 650,000 are not from Hillary’s private server, but reports state metadata indicates possibly thousands were.

More concerned about the DOJ blocking the probe into the Clinton Foundation. That's the whole reason the server was set up in the first place, avoiding visibility of pay-to-play.

I have to imagine the FBI has the technology to filter out emails in a pinch. Like cross referencing known emails vs. unknown. Bam, that knocks down a few thousand.

I prefer they use this something like this:

    Select *
    ..from weiner.laptop
where email not in (Select email
    ..............................from FBI.hrc.archive)
    ....and email in (Select email
    ..........................from HRC.private.server
    ........................where email is null);

It is seriously trivial for them to find all the emails. It's just a matter of literally reading them.
