As the article you linked to so aptly states, Trump created this problem so Trump can fix it. Did you forget that the GOP has a majority in both houses? Since when did this become a Democrat problem?
He created the problem by enforcing the law, you may have forgot from years of Obama picking and choosing what to enforce but that's the job of the executive branch.

Democrats show their true colors here, refusing to do their job by CREATING THE LAW.

Let's see, one party holds all 3 branches of government, but blames the minority party for lack of progress. Next they complain that they need a super majority to get anything done.
Republicans only hold 51 Senate seats, Democrats can filibuster. Plus, shouldn't Democrats support this anyway?

Is that your excuse for Democrats not supporting this bill? So it was never about the kids then huh. If it was about the kids, then this should've passed EASILY.

Republicans are only one step away from going nuclear in the Senate. Why don't you ask them why not? Your Emperor asked for it why didn't the Republican cronies lay down and follow?

Why didn't Democrats support this bill? I bet it was because they just want to use this to attack Trump, not to actually fix the problem. If the problem gets fixed, they can't attack Trump.

I understand that the ignorant don't understand how the Senate can change filibuster rules. Both sides have done it. We are only one step away from turning the Senate into the House. Republicans can go at it alone end of story.

Sadly issues like this should not require this nuke option. That it would shows the lack of wanting to fix issues and promote partisan politics. :(

Do you really want the Senate to change the filibuster rule? Lol.

Just keep making excuses for Democrats killing this bill.

Time for the Republicans in the Senate to bow and kiss Trump's feet and completely remove their backbones and eliminate the legislative filibuster. We've already come this far. I say do it and brace for the whiplash when control flips.

You can't even discuss the link you posted lol. Republicans hold control of Congress and that's a fact. Nothing from you is going to change that lol.

Not partisan on my part. Both sides in Congress are guilty of this. They are only pretending to get along. Look at the Supreme Court filibuster. Totally partisan. That one is worse than removing the legislative filibuster.

Or, alternativly, Trump could end this himself. All this massively increased ICE work was all created by him. All the Dreamers now at risk - all of them - are simply because of Trump.

So, I ask again, why is this now the Democratic Party's problem? The GOP allowed Trump, they created this problem. They own it.

And there we have it folks. Game-Set-Match.

Democrats prove once again they are the party of obstruction, have no policy, lack leadership, and are only out to hurt Muh Trump.

Now Trump & Co. get to go on TV and show the American people how the Democrats really govern.
Notice in your zeal you also ignored the fact that 49 Democratic Senators DID vote for Mondays "The Keep Families Together Act". Number of Republicans who voted for it...zero.

Again, how is this the Democratic Party's responsibility?

It’s been going on since Bush. Exactly how did Trump cause it?

In the case of a coyote the child often has a note... sometimes even sewn into their clothing, with the contact information of a relative in the United States. There are people who volunteer, often immigrants themselves, who interview the children to try and determine their situation. The majority of the time it's not that complicated and the child is clearly with a parent or relative.
There are also those who bring a kid hoping it will make it easier for them to get in. They aren’t even the parents.

Members of Congress and MSM personal that keep using, “its only a misdemeanor, so what?” “think of the children!” need to keep their gates open and doors unlocked 24/7 for whoever wants to come in.

Well, they admit it’s a crime. One step at a time you know.

Really? This massively increased immigration round up has been going on since Bush?

Should someone tell Trump this because he's still wittering on how Obama did nothing about immigration. And has been for years, to wit:

Obama weak on immigration. All words, no action. He's been Prez 4 years.
Trump tweet from October 2012.

Trump is a moron. This issue keeps the liberal base energized, alienates suburbanites (especially suburban women) and divides Republicans. And you’re surprised (or faux outraged) that Democrats won’t sign on to Ted Cruz’s bill?

Btw, 48 hours ago Ted Cruz was singing a different tune. His bill is just as political as anything the democrats are doing. Nobody wants to solve this issue they just want to play politics with it.

AP Politics (@AP_Politics)

Cruz last week: “When you see Democrats saying, ‘Don’t separate kids from their parents,’ what they’re really saying is don’t arrest illegal aliens.” Cruz this week: “All of us are horrified at the images we’re seeing.”

Y'all really need to read the articles y'all link to:

A federal judge in California has ruled that the Obama administration’s detention of children and their mothers who were caught crossing the border illegally is a serious violation of a longstanding court settlement, and that the families should be released as quickly as possible.
The issue today is not children of immigrants being held in secure locations, it's having them seperated from their familes...

You can't both hold parents in custody and not either detain the child (against the law) or release them.

Judge Dolly M. Gee of Federal District Court for the Central District of California found that two detention centers in Texas that the administration opened last summer fail to meet minimum legal requirements of the 1997 settlement for facilities housing children
The reason was listed right below what you quoted.

Judge Gee also found that migrant children had been held in “widespread deplorable conditions” in Border Patrol stations after they were first caught, and she said the authorities had “wholly failed” to provide the “safe and sanitary” conditions required for children even in temporary cells.
OH THE OUTRAGE. There must have been blood in the streets over this.. oh wait it was Obama so no one gave a ****.

The entire context of this thread is "Family Seperation " hence the title 'Democrats Reject Bill To End Family Separation At The Border'.

Your link that attempted to show this happened under Obama, did NOT talk about family seperation, in fact it spoke of children and their mothers locked up together.

So, either you fully support Trump here and stop making this a Democratic issue, or you disagree and say the kids should be allowed to be with their parents.

Stop sitting on the fence. Which is it, because right now you want your cake and eat it too...
