I seem to frequently get this bug where it won't show me the title/name of the wallpaper, and it won't show me the option to rate it.

Anyone else having this problem?

Just did a complete removal and new install. Working fine again! :D

And to anyone else having my problem (because it seems to be fairly common), here's how I solved it:

1. Open up System Preferences and right click the Desktoptopia icon for the option to remove it.

2. You need to make sure you remove it completely. Open up Spotlight and search desktoptopia. Let it "Show All" results, and find the .prefpane (or something like that) file.

3. I used AppZapper (must-have, link) here. I simply dragged that .prefpane file into AppZapper, it searches your entire system for any related/linked files, and zaps them too.

4. Reinstall!

Agreed! I would've done exactly what he said. And once again, you should definitely have AppZapper. It is the best App I have ever bought in my entire my life, and has probably saved Gigabytes of Hard Drive space on my MacBook. Thanks, Appzapper, and thanks Pwn247 for sharing your solution!

Alright, so a really great background just came up, and I'd love to save it. Does anyone know how to save a Desktoptopia wallpaper that comes up? How do I find out where it comes from so I can credit the site if I ever post it?

Thanks for any info!

You can save a background by going into system preferences> Desktop & Screen Saver>Desktop and dragging the picture onto your desktop or iPhoto or any folder.
