I'm just curious how many other people did this?

So I was listening to the Dev team, and I refused to upgrade my newer pwned iphone 3G to the apple 2.0.1 firmware because of the baseband update.

But as you know, 2.0 is buggy and laggy, yuck.

Anyway, so the day comes and I am following pwnage, and I'm watching the instructions off of CNET. Well, everything works beautifully!

Except when it comes time to load the custom firmware onto my iphone. Because Pwnage tells you to have iTunes do it, BUT IT DOESN"T TELL YOU TO HOLD THE OPTION KEY when hitting the restore button.

So, without knowing it, I upgraded my phone to apple's 2.0.1 firmware!?! Hitting the option key would of brought up the option to find the custom firmware on my my desktop. Doh doh doh doh doh doh.

This wouldn't be a big deal, but I was really hoping to unlock this phone, so I can take it to Japan.

Anyway, anybody else have trouble on that last step?

Plus side, at least its not as laggy...
