Did it take several updates for autocorrect to get as good as it was in iOS 5/6?

I'm really praying that is the case and that iOS 7 will be as good as 6 over time, I'm going insane.

It is significantly worse now, I have to manually correct words constantly that it used to recognize with no problem. It's extremely frustrating dealing w such a big downgrade.

Yes and this is more suited to the iOS 7 forum.

This is specifically asking if it took time to get it as good as it used to be before. That other thread got derailed somewhat.

I haven't had this issue. Autocorrect seems to work the same as it did in iOS 5/6. You can always add commonly used words to the shortcuts in the keyboard settings. Just set the shortcut and phrase as the same thing.

That would be ok if it were one or two words, but it's literally 1/4 words.
