Will be interesting to see how this plays out, but for now, colour me cynical.

Personally I think it's safe to swap the ? in the thread title for a !. What a load of transparent BS. Do they honestly think the sort of people who worry about the stuff appearing on Wikileaks will fall for this crap?

Wow, that's awfully transparent of them. Rape and molestation, eh? I would have added "and aggravated buggery of waterfowl" just to make it super clear to everyone what could happen to them if they cross The Powers That Be.

I am looking forward to seeing what's in that "insurance" file though.

    It's already on wikipedia:

Does this smell like a set up or what. Check their bank accounts for any deposits from an 'import/export' company owned by several shelf companies that doesn't have a brick and mortar office or anything, I say.

And just like that, the breaking news alert on my phone tells me he's no longer wanted on those charges.

The after-action report on this ought to be interesting...

Hunh. Meant as a shot across the bow, perhaps? Seems kind of clumsy regardless. I would be tempted to suspect a false flag meant to make the three-letter guys look foolish, except the criminal penalties for doing that would make it impractical for private citizens.

That reminds me about Ninjas popping up out of the ground.

That scene in Zatōichi (2003) was stolen from the Indian trick in Jeremiah Johnson (1972). :)

Or maybe they stole it? ;)
