I'd like to disable the autocomplete feature for Safari's address bar. This is something that I find very annoying. I would like to keep the address bar's dropdown menu feature though.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks,

Anybody?

I know that in the past, I've seen an article on editing some preference file. Unfortunately, I can't find any info on it now.

Thanks,

Same issue... Safari 3.1.1

I have the same question.. basically. Is there any way to disable the auto-completion of urls in the address bar in Safari 3.1.1?
I don't want my bookmarks popping up in the list when I start typing.

Why don't you guys send feedback to Apple.. Probably they will listen to you...
