Disney just launched their upgrade program for those that own Disney DVDs. The breakdown of the program is you send in your proof of purchase tabs (usually located on the side dvd case or outside slip cover) and Disney sends you an $8 coupon per title. You can upgrade as many DVDs as you which and practically all of their Blu-ray lineup is eligible. The $8 manufacturer coupon is good at participating retailers including Wal-Mart and Target (Unfortunately, Amazon is not participating). And you get to keep your DVD. Participating U.S. retailers include: Best Buy Co Inc Bjs Wholesale Club Inc Hq Blockbuster Borders Disney Stores Disneyland Resort Kmart Corp/Hq Meijer Inc Nebraska Furniture Mart Sears Roebuck & Co Target Corp Toys R Us Transworld Wal-Mart https://disneyupgradetoblu.com/blu_ray/faq.html Many of these retailers (particularly Target and Wal-Mart) already heavily discount Disney Blu-ray discs. Sounds like a fairly good deal. I have about 16 eligible titles that I’ll start digging through tomorrow.
