Display notes and reminders on lock screen

I've been looking around for an app that will display reminders on the lock screen since I"m not skilled enough to write my own. I found something called RemindYou that syncs with the calender and blah blah blah, I'm looking for something simple that just displays text that I enter i.e. "Buy new headphones, shop for birthday gift for Janet" that kind of thing. Anyone know an app that does that?
