Do new Macbook Pros not come with Installation discs?

Just got my new MBP but noticed it didn't come with installation discs for Mavericks. Is this the new norm now? What do I do if I need to reinstall? Command + R?

New Macs have not come with install discs since mid-2011 - when Lion was introduced.

even that last MBPro 13-inch that still has an optical drive - also did not come with install discs.

It's all downloads now (since Lion)
