I am getting AppleCare+. In a year or year and a half if my iPhone breaks and I get a new one will it have the oleophobic coating?

Yes, they are remanufactured to the same spec as new.

FWIW my replacement has less of a coating. My original was actually slippery which I like. Also my replacement has vertical lines down the screen like its interlaced and its really distracting and larger gaps between the glass and metal. The first replacement they gave me had a dent and this one does too but it's the lesser of two evils.

I'm going to keep going back until I get a phone that works as advertised. I hope supply catches up to demand so they can focus on quality over quantity. With such a precisely designed phone there are many things that can go wrong.
