That all they are doing is increasing his level of support?

This latest one where people, on American soil are waving Mexican flags and causing violence is playing right into his hands. Take a voter who may not like Trump, or Hillary, but will vote for someone. And then they see these protests about what Trump has been talking about and they decide to support him.

It seems every time something like this happens, his polling number go up. The best thing for these protestors to do would be to completely ignore him. But instead they antagonize him, so he responds forcefully and the more he responds, the higher his numbers go.

Go to a Trump rally with a DONALD TRUMP sign. See if you can send a subtle message to the trumpkins.;)

Where the rioters come from, such intimidation tactics probably work against the electorate. But we've got a Second Amendment and are willing to use it. They can't wrap their heads around that fact.

I don't think those protestors are the brightest lights in the forest.

Yet you don't seem to wrap your head around the fact that we have a First Amendment Right, and they are willing to and are using it.

So your choice is to hide behind a weapon so you don't want to hear something you disagree with. Got it.

See the above. They are brighter and braver than you realize, let alone give them credit for.

Could easily say that about any candidate that is protested.

    "All Press is Good Press"

    Good luck defending that.

Some people aren't that politically astute. That is why so many Bernie supporters were protesting the Trump rally in Chicago a couple of days before the Illinois democratic primary instead of trying to win the primary.

You can't just "use your second amendment rights" just because you don't like some protesters.

He said rioters and not protestors. Big difference. First amendment does not protect the rioter. If they get violent we have the right to protect ourselves, at least that is what I assume DofD was trying to say.

Your own words from post #4:

Again, how much of a coward is someone who decides to use the 2A to shoot a gun at someone lawfully exercising their 1A right to free speech and assembly, especially if the message behind that 1A use is one they disagree with?

No law would defend that, yet you've just insinuated that one would.

His post #4 said rioters. That has nothing to do with the First Amendment.

You conveniently forgot to highlight the full context: Rioters are trying to intimidate the electorate by violence. That doesn't work in the US the way it would in their home countries where the public isn't allowed firearms for self-defense.

If it's still not clear, let me know.

Here's your first amendment right, played out by the bright and the brave, and how it's been reported on:

“protesters threw rocks, plastic bottles, burning T-shirts and other items at officers."

"Albuquerque police said on Twitter late Tuesday that "several" officers were being treated for injuries as a result of being hit by rocks. At least one person was arrested."

"Inside the Trump rally, demonstrators shouted, held up banners and resisted removal by security officers. The banners included the messages "Trump is Fascist" and "We've heard enough."

"Trump responded with his usual bluster, mocking the protesters by telling them to "Go home to mommy.""

I think they are putting rioting and protesting in the same category. I don't think the first amendment protects the rioter and gives them the right to commit a violent crime in the name of free speech.

So with these, plus Trump stating that he'd pay the attorney's fees for his supporters beating up a protester, the protester should have 2A'd the supporter to death? Is that what you're saying?

    I mean, consistency, and all..

Long over, played out by rent-a-mobs tirelessly jonesing for headlines and notoriety. Of the kind that also make up hoax incidents and then report it as truth. And of the type that plant operatives to play act incidents as live political theater. In a word: Leftists.

Is like to see reports where a bunch of righties are pulling stunts, such as preventing speech and invading Hillary and Bernie gatherings.
