Do you discrimate against and app because of it's icon?

    I don't but I know people who do! Some have a page dedicated to "bad icons", just curious what classifies these icons as bad and if other people actually do this.

    I hate apps with ugly icons. When it comes to UIs I'm very picky, and after being spoiled by iPhones interface I always notice even slight imperfections in UIs now...

    I find it annoying, but I will still use the app if it is good. How hard can it be just to put a little effort into designing a pretty icon. It sits like a turd in the middle of your nice new carpet.

    I use apps for their functionality, not what it looks like on my homescreen

    I don't. I'm more concerned with the app doing what I need it to do.
