Was wondering if iOS 9 was still safe.
I want my phone to be secure.
It's fine, just don't open any unknown/fishy texts or emails
There are drive by web exploits that can affect iOS 9.0-9.3.4. iOS 9.3.5 has its exploits as well. For information, I suggest reading the security release notes for different iOS versions on Apple's site.
I never worry about it. I figure my life is not that interesting to anybody else. There is one file on my phone which is encrypted by me.
Agreed. Here are the notes for each of the iOS 10 releases:
iOS 10.0 https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207143
iOS 10.0.1 https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207145
iOS 10.0.2 https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207199 (no changes)
iOS 10.1 https://support.apple.com/en-ie/HT207271
Nothing is safe, but iOS 10 is a bit safer (maybe).
Do not update. Trust me you will miss iOS 9 and battery life .
I agree, stay on 9 until later this year maybe next year.
I will stay on 9 until good untethered jailbreak for ios10 available
