Do you think the SAY10 QUALCOMM will cause our precious Xs to be delayed even further?

They're trying to block iPhone manufacturing in China as we speak. Could it cause iPhone X to be delayed until September-October 2018?

The wheels of justice tend to grind slowly. Even if QC wins this one, it'll be quite a while before such an injunction happens.

And from what I’m reading they have already lost one and has a lawsuit filed against them by US government. Doesn’t sound like they’re doing any more than trying to harass Apple into settling. But in China, well who knows.

There was some talk about Tim Cook and Apple bringing the manufacture process back to the USA. I hope someday that will happen to give us not only jobs, also to help the economy

No, these things take time, and anyway they wont be able to do so, Apple has much better lawyers.

Yep, I can just imagine the $1000 iPhone retailing at $2000 when that day comes.

Now that's depressing - as I was planning on ordering the iPhone X sim free to be sure to get the Qualcomm modem. So I may not be getting an iPhone this cycle. I have the iPhone 7 Plus and don't want the 8. I was looking forward to a new gadget.
