Dock Magnification?

just wondering how many mac users out there actually have the dock set to magnify when u roll over it?
i personally find it annoying, but can't stand hiding the dock.

Tons of people ask this question! It's quite hard to find...

1. Click [EDIT] on your inicial post.
2. Then click [Go advanced]
3. Scroll down to the bottom and check [Add Poll]
4. Click [Submit Changes or Post]
5. Edit your Poll
6. Post again.

Done.

yeah i have 13" and tried hiding dock, but i just couldn't do it. lol

Tons of people ask this question! It's quite hard to find...

I do hide my dock and have no magnification.

Need to make an icon magnify temporarily when you have set to no magnification? Simple. Just hold down Control and Shift and move over the dock and its just as if you had the magnification turned on.

I have a 13.3" MacBook, and only have it magnify slightly, you might want to try it, just so little that it is barely even noticeable. I do not hide my dock, and the magnification is only enough to add a little cool "you can't do this on a PC" effect to show off to my friends.

I don't magnify mine, I just make it really big to begin with. Some say I "waste screen space". I don't think it's a waste at all, the dock is pretty much the only thing I use on my desktop anyway, so why not make it big?

Yeah, I have it magnify.

20" screen, here, so screen real estate is no real issue unless I'm using Final Cut Express, in which I use Do Something When and an AppleScript I got off the internet to hide the dock. Works a charm... except it won't show the dock when Final Cut Quits... grrrr... (even though I told it to)
