on 10 the screen always rotated to the current position the moment i unlocked..
Since 11 and the update it’s stuck on the previous position until i start rotating the phone and then it sets in place..

Is this a known bug unfixed yet?

I have that bug too and others have mentioned it on here as well. It requires a very deliberate rotate to portrait and back to landscape or vice versa.

The other thing I've noticed is that the rotation "follows" the active app (for want of a better word).

In 10: Run an app that works in both portrait and landscape, with the phone in portrait. Switch to an app (such as a game) that only runs in landscape. Switch back to the first app and it'll still be in portrait.
In 11: When you switch back to the first app, it'll now be in landscape. This isn't so much of an issue when holding the phone upright, but when it's flat on the desk you need to pick it up and force a rotate to get it back into portrait.

Potentially because something like that might be of lower priority.
