I don't want a case that has a clip on the back...does the Contour Showcase? Essentially I want a plastic protective case that doesnt have a belt clip and will fit in the dock

Pick the Contour Showcase over the ISee....I have had both and the I See would creak and move around and allow dust under the plastic alot easier. I really like the showcase...I use it with a screen protector and am very happy.

The Showcase comes with a holster-like? clip but it is detachable. I don't use it and the case is normal and smooth in the back with no parts jutting out.

There are no hard cases that go on your iPhone that will still allow it to dock. Leather cases - yes.

the Incase Slider can, obviously you have to remove the bottom, but it's really not a hassle, however there is no holster

I'm not sure how this will work on non-iSkin products, but its worth a try...
