Hello.
I'm a bit confused with regards to the lossless transmission of music in the newly released Apple Music Lossless service.
With my dac-wired headphones setup I get the lossless file, as expected, but when it comes to streaming music I can still select "lossless" and "High-Res" lossless quality.
That's a bit puzzling as I'm pretty sure Apple Music bluetooth streaming is locked to AAC, and that definitely cannot support anything above 265KBps bitrate.
Reading a few reviews online for the newly released Sony WH1000XM4 I keep hearing the reviewers saying "coming soon to Apple Music too", when talking about the higher quality LDAC format (currently supported by Tidal and Amazon Music HD), but I can't find anything official.
So far I watched 3 reviews specifically mentioning it but do you know more about this?
Knowing if Apple plans to support LDAC would actually influence my purchases in the near future.
Thank you, very much.
