does Apple online store no longer allow return of Mac Mini? I've always believed that Apple has one of the best and easiest return policy on everything.(from a $30 charger to a $3000 Macbook)

However, the reason I'm asking this question is because of what I heard on YouTube. A lot of "reputable" YouTubers(i.e. those with at least 500k subscribers or more) have videos talking about the upcoming new Mac Mini. A lot of them kept saying that people shouldn't but it now and wait for actual reviews to come out, or "be stuck with a Mac Mini that you don't want..." I don't know how anyone can be "stuck" with a Mac Mini or any Mac that they ordered from Apple. Just return it and order the one you want, right? Or is something happening to Apple's return policy? I've never heard any YouTuber or review websites say this until this week....

Apple hasn't changed its return policy.

The YouTubers aren't talking about return policy. Based on what you've said, they're talking about the long term (beyond the normal return policy) - overall caution about being among the first to buy something new.

Popular ≠ reputable

Especially for vloggers.

Exhibit A: Look at that "popular" YouTube moron who claimed that the MacBook Air had a thermal issue because he was too moronic to let the initial Spotlight indexing finish. Yet some MR forum participants were daft enough to even defend him after this most basic error was pointed out.

In general it is best to ignore vloggers.
