Does do not disturb still ring for the caller?

    It differs in that some calls ring and all the others don't.

    Are you asking if the caller will go straight to vm hence feeling "dumped" or will it ring for them like you just missed the call?

    Apple's very own website explains exactly what it does and how it differs from silence. And if Apple's site isn't sufficient, it's all over Google.

    Ahh this would make more sense. It sends them straight to voicemail to my knowledge.

    They also hidden the scheduling settings in the Notification settings. Maybe they will move it in 6.1?

    DND will send the caller directly to voicemail. Just like if you hit the FU button. ;)
