Hi -

My company links to an Apple EPP web site where I am able to save 8% on basically anything in the store. I was thinking of picking up a 17" MBP when they are released but would prefer to purchase in store. Does anyone know if EPP discounts are honored in store and if they are what is needed to get this discount?

thanks -

It doesn't hurt to ask. I would bring a copy of the URL so you can enter it on one of their screens for proof.

You need a corporate ID and drivers license.

The in-store EPP might be less than the online discount, so be prepared for that. Theres nothing they can do about that, so you might end up ordering online anyway.

Also, not all EPPs are recognized in-store for various reasons, but the vast majority are.

I bought my mac mini back in August and was able to get the EPP discount.

I'm going to the store tomorrow to get a MBP... if they don't offer the same discount in-store then they lose a sale :p

I noticed with my EPP discount if I order online there is no sales tax even though there is an Apple store in my state. I am pretty sure they would charge sales tax in store depending on where you live.
