iOS Does Facebook Connect use encryption?

Hi all,

Quick question - I've got an app that uses the Facebook Connect SDK to publish stories to your Facebook profile from directly within the app.

Does anyone know if this uses encryption over the network and whether I would need to complete one of those encryption forms in the application upload process? I assume it's a legal requirement if neccessary.

Not by the looks of it. You can check through the code yourself, it's not precompiled.

I need to send an anonymous message on Fb. Creating fake email,fake profile(hiding all info from profile including email),sending a msg and deleting the account.

Is it possible to track me down / get my IP? I am using a mac, so is the user on the other side.

Could there be any virtuous reason for the need to send an anonymous message on Facebook?
