ron paul said she does on jay leno. where's the supporting evidence?
Michele Bachmann hates anyone who does not agree with her.
That translates to "Shari'a law is a terrifying threat to America, therefore we absolutely must attack Iran before they build a nuclear bomb."
Ron Paul's comments translate to "Close the doors, lock the gate, let the rest of the world go about its business while we go about ours."
The Christians version of.Sharia law has been in effect for many years in the US. I would definitely say any religious governance is something to be fearful about.
Drawing this false dichotomy reveals her prejudice.
I don't know if Michele Bachmann hates Muslims.
But like the rest of the GOP candidates, she scares the hell out of sane people everywhere.
She seems to hate anyone who doesn't square with her very narrow world view.
Of course she does. She's a republican.
I'm quite sure there's a lot of American muslims around.
This is a fun hate-her-because-she's-a-republican thread, but can anyone offer any real evidence that she hates Muslims and wishes them harm because of their Muslim faith?
I'm pretty sure it's actually a hate-her-because-she's-*******-insane thread.
Earlier you seemed to insinuate that she hates Muslims because she is a republican. Are you now suggesting that she must be insane because she is a republican?
No, I'm indicating that she's ******* insane because she is indeed, ******* insane. Plenty of other republicans can see that, something tells me someone sensible like David Frum wouldn't touch her with a ten foot pole.
Oh, I see. Thanks for the thoughtful analysis.
There's a reason she's in the single digits amongst republicans. Care to explain why that is?
I don't know. She was in the lead earlier, so I suppose she was sane before and then went insane and now no one wants to vote for her? Her positions have not changed, so this must be it.
What appears to be the case is that the voters were simply not as aware of how befuddled she is until she stood up there with her thousand-yard cross-eyed stare and barfed her positions all over the front row. Prior to getting a glimpse into the abysmal abyss of Bachmann's personality, people might have been giving her undue consideration.
This is highly speculative on your part. What evidence do you have that her lowering in the polls has anything to do with her personality or what it appears that you perceive as her craziness? Could it instead be due to other candidates' superior campaigning efforts?
you got a doctor's certification to prove she was sane before? You got anything to prove she was EVER sane????
That was my point.
Are you serious? Bachmann and her husband are nuts.
It's because she's too sane and smart to be popular among republicans.
It is indeed, but it makes more sense than suggesting that she has lost a significant amount marbles over the past year or so. When a candidate enters the race, the voters usually give that person a fair chance from the outset, which would explain higher initial polling. There have been one or two debates staged over the last year, from which the prospective voters will have had a chance to review the candidates on their various merits. Bachmann's reviews have not been particularly good. I am skeptical that anyone is genuinely taking her seriously at this point. They want someone who has a chance of winning.
