hello

by comparing on my old iphones 3G, 4S and iphone7, I really notice that the older ones, are booting until the phone/session is ready, it takes at least 1'30 up to 2 mins.

on iphone 7, it takes less than a min, approx half of time
I understand a bit that the hardware is a bit more recent and huge more performant.
But: I wonder, with the "bluetooth network" even disabled, it looks like the system just not power off completely on request... like a sort of hibernation of the OS?

two iphones of the same model, if one is totally empty of battery, will take more time to poweron compared to one just sorted out of the box?

I guess that older iphones were just totally powered-off, and nowadays iPhone are just in sort of hibernation.. but I might be wrong, how to know much better the process?

(yes, I power off my phone every night..)

Power off nowadays still turns the device off.
Boot times now are faster because processing power is better.
Older phones can take longer, especially if running a newer iOS. But the 3G for instance is a very low-power chip, barely enough to run even the old iOS.
