Got my first Apple Watch ever - managed to pick up a 45mm gold stainless steel with dark cherry sport band yesterday.
Loving it so far, such a great experience and the gold stainless steel case is beautiful.
I’m only concerned about the size: it feels comfortable, but I’m not sure if it looks weird or not.

What do you guys think? Should I return it and get a 41mm instead?

I think it looks fine and I personally love bigger watches. I just moved from 44mm to 45mm Apple Watch and I like it. As long as its comfortable that is what’s important. As long as it feels fine in the next week me days I wouldn’t get a 41m. It’s just too small. Here are come pics of my new 45mm

I agree with opinions shared so far. Just wanted to add maybe notice what you think every time you look at it: Do you get used to it? Do you keep thinking 'this thing is obscene on me." In other words, you're asking a good question, and you're probably the best to answer and you get to keep answering each time you look at the watch.

Just as far as experiential feedback: Years ago, I started smaller, went bigger, and went whoa, but then before the return period was over, I loved the size and it felt perfect.

So hopefully time may help you, too.

I think at that size it looks weird on any anyone wrist, but if it were me and it felt comfortable to wear, I wouldn't care.

Looks good!👍🏼 Perfect! 👌🏼 but ya as long as you’re happy 😃 who cares what everyone else thinks—you’re the one wearing it, kwim? (If people don’t like it, oh well… lol they aren’t wearing it).

Personally I think the larger on you looks better. Or if the strap for the second is just a notch or two more loose.

Too big, sorry

I received mine yesterday. I have an even smaller wrist and it works well for me. Though the stem was getting close to hitting my joint bump. I'm a lefty, so I set up the stem so it now rides on the inside (pointing up my arm and sort of at the 8:00 position instead of the 2:00 position).

This 45mm size of course looks even less like a conventional wrist watch on smaller wrists. But, for me I'd rather have the technology, and at 45mm a larger screen.

It is subjective, but to me it looks great!

I’m more of a small devices person. small iPhones, small iPad Pro (11”), smallest MacBook I can get (13”)… If I had to buy an Apple Watch, I would definitely go for the smallest size available. I guess that’s the reason they sell different sizes.

Your bands like they are very tight. Does it not bother you? (To each his own).

My wrists are smaller and I ordered the 45mm. Yours looks very stylish.
