Yup, very familiar. Just goes to show you that Apple had it right...again.
I'm tentatively excited about the PSP. I'll be more excited when I see it in person with a price of $199 or less (not likely at launch). That screen looks awesome. I'd love to play Wipeout on it.

I really don't think that Sony is copying Apple on this one, they have been making wired remotes for thier Mini Disc players, years before Apple even though of making an iPod, let alone a wired remote for the iPod.

Besides, who uses the remote for thier iPod anyway, not me.

Its not about the wired remote, its about how the wired remote uses the same basic design as the iPod's click wheel. Did Apple patent this? This looks like it may be a case of patent infringement. :D
 
I must say i am very, VERY , excited for the PSP, i know there are white ones available in japan. and i have seen pictures, the white ones look more like an apple product than that remote does.
