    Please advise.

Anyone has any problems playing this game on the Powerbook G4?

    it probably won't boot.

If it does, expect less than 1 fps...

this would be approximately true for a dual 2.5ghz G5 powermac as well, so don't think I'm insulting your system.

You're asking, though, whether or not VPC will run a game that requires hardware accelerated video, and since VPC doesn't support hardware accelerated graphics in the first place, it has to emulate everything. That's why I say it probably won't boot, and if it does, it won't be even close to playable.

Best you can hope for is to be able to open up the cut-scene movie files and watch them in a video program on your mac.

Otherwise, if you want to play that game, you'll need a PC.

Just spent 5 or 6 hours playing said game on my PC ;)

Not a chance. Hardware accelerated video, some serious cpu work going on there. It'll not even start up. It makes my PC system choke... but damn is it worthwhile.

Um, no. Virtualk PCs couldn't handle games for anything. Maybe Age of Empires II or older games.

Age of Empires doesnt run in VPC 7, let alone AoE2
