Does your iphone dim the constant of your photos when you use them as wallpaper?

    Does your iphone dim the constrast of your photos when you use your pics as wallpaper? Has anyone noticed this?

    yes sometimes idk how to fix it, and i have learned to live with.

    It does add a shadow gradient overlay which noticeably darkens the wallpaper. You can see some with\without screen shots HERE.

    it kinda annoying the iphone 4 does this!

    i can only assume they did this to make the the status bar and dock easier to see. I'm not sure about the status bar, but the dock is almost invisible without the shading behind it.
