Gotta be some buyers remorse in both parties. Marco Rubio would be kicking Hillary's ample rear end and Bernie would be lighting The Donald's toupee on fire.

538 shows him pulling up a lot too. Not bad considering Nate was all about "Trump having only 20% chance of winning" when launching his new tracker.

It will be interesting to see the polls after the DNC week when both candidates have their official nomination and the real fun begins.

America has given us some of the greatest innovations in history, pioneered many aspects of medical research, put people into space!

And now a large chunk of its population are getting behind a guy who is a pathological liar and who can't explain any of the policies and actions he is promising to deliver. Something doesn't quite add up and despite most of the world sniggering at Trump, we are starting to be quite scared he's going to be elected! lol

I'm confused you mention pathological liar, can't explain any of the policies, are you talking about Clinton or Trump?

Funny you should say that. You have been looking at Hillary as well haven't you? She has been lying to our faces for years.

Unfortunately we don't have many options in this election. But I'll take Hilary over Drumpf any day.

Yep she's a liar and corrupt herself as I've also said on other threads.

But she is a politician and I do believe she has the intelligence to at least act professionally on the international stage and work out a method of delivering some of what she promises. She hasn't promised to end violent crime in America and defeat Isis as soon as she is elected because that is fantasy and unrealistic. Trump however has promised both of those and to rapturous applause!

The reality is you guys have got two of the worse presidential candidates of our lifetime and you have to vote for the lesser of two evils.

Won't mean anything until they break it down to every swing state.

Got some rather bizzare 18th century way of "voting" for your prez.

68% of Americans view Hillary Clinton as dishonest or untrustworthy. More Americans believe Clinton is running for herself than Trump. Americans view Hillary Clinton as more unfavourable than Donald Trump.

LOL. It's only one poll, though. The trend in CNN's polls is quite telling, however.

Convention bounce. Let's wait until after next week. Let the democrats have their convention and speeches about Trump. Let's be fair here.

I agree, but I am not sure she actually is the lesser of the two evils. Plus, there are other options on the ballet. That being said, our system is broken and probably wouldn't allow for us to get a Libertarian elected.

The CNN article notes that this kind of bounce has not happened since 2000 in their polling.

Exactly. Let's just wait until next week. Hillary has the convention + her VP (those numbers werent included in these polls).

She'll still get a convention + Vp bounce. Expect them to be tied next week.

If by bounce you mean flat basketball bounce, then maybe. Wiki has something like 96 GB of stuff to dump.

I think everyone knows she will win though. Whether you like her or not. Hell she is tougher than most men. All that crap she's been through and will STILL be our 45th President!

Nobody in Europe thought Brexit would happen and then we were all stunned. I don't think anything political is a foregone conclusion these days.
