If you don't want to buy the new iPhone on a lengthy installment plan that penalizes you for early pay off, consider Klarna. I performed a test run on the Apple site and Klarna worked, splitting purchase into 4 non-interest payments over time. I simply didn't hit the final submit button. I used a 14 Pro Max 516GB as a potential purchase. The Apple site does not have a "pay with Klarna" option. So I installed the Klarna app which has a link to the Apple store. Going through that link I can pay with Klarna. This is just an alternative if the traditional payment methods aren't best for you or not available to you.

Amazon UK are offering me 5 monthly payments on the iPhone 14 Pro Max although sadly the 256GB Black seems to be sold out at the moment

Certainly a good option to have as it doesn't involve credit checks but can be account specific
