This is really upsetting actually, less than an hour ago I had a blazing fast Safari and now it's crippled.

Lesson learned I guess..

Uhhh NVM, apparantly my computer connected to the 2.4 wifi downstairs after the update (and the security update) for some reason. I guess be wary of that after updating your Mac. -.-'

I have also no issues after update.
May be it did not install right. Try downloading full installer of latest version of macOS 10.14 from Apple and reinstalll in place. SHould fix whatever did not install right. It is non destructive, but make sure you have proper (tested) backup first.

Yeah it was.. weird.. and dumb -.-

Like I'd think the little Wifi symbol would indicate less signal, but no, it was strong... just that it was strong regarding that 2.4 signal, not the AC from my Airport Express outside my room. I guess I need to get used to these new wifi antenas on the iMac. I feel old. o_O Anyway thank you all for your help. :)

Why wait to tell us this? It was an issue with Safari 13.0.3 as well May have even be with 13.0.2 as well.

^^^^tsk tsk tsk - He posted that a week ago, and subsequently discovered it was not an issue with Safari, but with his connection. READ the rest of the posts 1387914497.gif
