Double Sided Document to PDF

Hey forum,
I have a 30 page packet, all pages are double sided. I would like to create a PDF file from this packet so that I can put it onto my ipad. If all the pages were one sided, it would be easy, being as my printer can only scan one side at a time. But since it's double sided, I have to scan all the fronts, then all the backs. How can I join the fronts and the backs to make it into one 60 page PDF file?
