So im using the Windows 10 icloud app to keep a copy of my photos on my local drive and i noticed that for every photo i have taken, icloud app is downloading 4 different version of the photo, 2x heic and 2x jpg. The off part is that each of these extensions also have one renamed to "edited". Why are these files named "edited"? I never edit any photos on my phone, yet they all have the same "edited" text after it.
At first, i thoguht it had something to do with HDR and a NON HDR version, but this option have been disabled on my iPhone 11 PRO MAX, so the phone is only keeping the HDR version.
Screenshot:
Does anyone know how to make the icloud app to only download the original file? I have over 110k photos and take a lot of photos each day, which makes it pain in the ass to mass remove files all the time from my hard drive.
