Downloading Mojave to Create bootable from HS?

Hello,

A few days ago I downloaded macOS Mojave to create a bootable USB from macOS High Sierra via Apple Store

Is this installer is macOS Mojave 10.14.6 build 18G103?
Or which version I have downloaded?

The size ; 6.05 gb looks right but " 14.4.0 " or the "14.6.06" .. . weird.

I would not trust it.

To securely download Mojave FULL 6.05 gb 18G103 directly from secure Apple servers.​

1. Ensure that you do not have ANY Mac OS installers in your Applications folder.

2. Start App Store

3. Search for Mac OS Mojave

4. If a " Get" button appears in the top right corner of the resulting page.

HIT it !

Sometimes the Apple servers are busy so if you get a " Can't find " message . . keep hitting the "Get" button until the download commences.

I posted this info to you in previous posts but you don't seem to want to trust OFFICIAL Apple Secure servers.


I'm running 18G103 now after doing the above steps.

It doesn't matter what version the installer is, check the Mac OS version from BaseSystem.dmg and use createinstallmedia https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201372

It DOES matter which version. 18G84 was the build that caused all the kernel panics, wake from sleep issues which prompted first Supplemental which the caused more problems.

18G95 seems to have Bluetooth pairing problems ( at least for me ).

18G103 is the build that is currently available from the App Store.

Read my previous comment again, carefully. I'll repost here how to find the MacOS version and build number from the BaseSystem dmg inside the Install macOS Mojave app
