Black paint chipped, better return it.
That was VERY impressive. wow.
Even though it was dropped many times, the back didn't seem to have noticeable scratches
This guy is no 'myth buster' but this seems to be a generic test.
Especially for a drop test conducted by android website
haha. remember the days when you dropped your phone and the battery went flying.
I know, just a bit on the chamfer, but considering the drop, impressive.
wow i'm shocked the screen didn't crack on the iP5. Impressive.
Here is another drop test:
Did well until they actually threw the phone against the tile floor at which point the screen shattered.
Impressive, looks like Apple has really turned the tables on the iPhone. I still wouldn't want to drop it, but it is nice to know a minor drop wont shatter the back glass.
Why do stupid people do these stupid tests??? That's one less phone someone can have now.
This is the first guy on the planet with the ********* looking iPhone 5.
Scratch test on a white iPhone...?
Relax, it was a Hong Kong phone
those were the days.
Very nice, He dropped the hell out of that phone.
Definently putting a case on mine. The white is very noticeable after drops from the pocket.
Man, I was thinking of going with no case on my iPhone 5 (have always used one on every smart phone I have ever had) - but now, I may change my mind.
Nokia's with front and back covers were the worst, had to find four or five pieces spread about the place!
Trust me...Apple's already done this themselves. It's testing to give consumers an idea of device durability. I do thing it's stupid when people buy a new devices and then just shatter it in a celebration of destruction...but at least semi-scientific testing to determine real world durability is useful to the consumer.
Think about the government crash tests...they smash up a bunch of cars from every model to determine safety things. That's 5 cars of a given model that are given JUST to crashing, and that's in addition to whatever torture tests the manufacturer performs. Since we don't have government testing of phone durability, sites like this take on the testing.
Now...will it blend is just dumb (but oddly engaging).
Omg he dropped the phone at least 15 times and HARD...Wow the iPhone 5 impresses me so far with durability.
Yea, I thought the over the head drops would be the one that shatters and it it didnt! They even did it twice.
Just make sure you don't lose your temper and throw the phone, didn't do so well in that test.
These drop tests are so hard to watch!
Just waiting for more people to yell how biased that android review was towards the iphone and how they are also getting paid by Apple.
