Dual HDD MBP: recovering from other drive?

I must got my new laptop, and I bought a caddy and ssd to put in the optical bay. The SSD doesn't get here until tomorrow, so should I install CS3, MS Office, Skype, Autodesk, and the other programs I want to use now (some require install disks)? Or will I not be able to transfer everything to the SSD after I install it? If not, I'll need to put the SSD in the where the HDD is now when I get it to use the superdrive for installing Lion, Win7, CS3, and Office. Or if I could do all of that now and transfer it and the OS to the SSD when I get it with both drives installed, that would be great.

You could clone the HDD to the SSD via CarbonCopyCloner.
And doesn't the optibay caddy set come with an enclosure for your SuperDrive? Mine did, but I got the one from http://www.hardwrk.com.

I bought one off of amazon, 15 bucks and just the caddy + screws. Thanks a lot for the app!
