Sometimes money is not everything.. First the daughter ran away and now the wife. This tells you something. Hopefully she will not be dumb enough to start using her old smartphone like the daughter. Hopefully she also was not stupid and lazy enough to use cloud backups. Her smartphone will be used against her as a tracking tool and just like the daughter it will not be long before she is tracked down and brought back otherwise.

If you piss off one of the richest men in the world I would not be hanging around in London. I would find somewhere in the middle of nowhere and build a bunker or something.
She’ll be way obvious there as she’ll be the only non-white person.

When someone like the Sheikh has you on the hit list and is feeling bitter or wants revenge it will only be a matter of time before he gets his way. The Russians have gotten their way in London before. We saw what happened to Princess Diana before as well. People with power and money usually get their ways. Prince Salman looked like he was still treated well at the G20 even though many knew he had Kashoggi hacked to pieces. Trump said it was a great honor to see and meet with the North Korean leader Kim. How many people has Kim had killed, fed to various animals and had bullets put into them?

After they kill they start paying people off

What has Diana with a drunk driver and paparazzi being dicks got to do with this? The Sheikh will simply have her beheaded. Hell, the Saudis behead their own family members.

I think he is saying it was an inside job and not an “accident”, kinda like the Boston molasses disaster...

If Princess Haya has some common sense…. she'd already be seeking hiding in asylum in some London or French embassy.

If she had full-metal stupidity, she'd have sought asylum in DC or New York, where Trump would automatically deport her back to Dubai to be killed by her husband. Trump would predictably side with the oppressive autocratic Arab ruler, which is how Trump rolls.

Donald, of course, will demand a lavish golf resort created just for him in Dubai City…. as a reward for handing over the "rogue princess".

She would be stupid to come to America. Conflicts of interest would outweigh her safety and asylum request. Trump would have her deported immediately I bet. Just like the Saudi case he would say the do Billions in business with us

She would actually be safe to a degree. Cause Homeland, CIA, and NSA will keep a close eye on her. She would have zero privacy though.

Princess Haya's powerful kin in Jordan may well have decided to assist her despite traditional Arab notions about the place of a married woman. They may also be the ones who now 'encourage' the princess' husband to allow a civil divorce and let bygones be bygones, doubtless in exchange for some heavy duty investment the kingdom could use since having to deal with so many refugees still camping out in Jordan.

It's true the US and Jordan are allies and share intel. Not out of the question they keep an eye out for any untoward stuff they could hear about regarding moves against the princess Haya.

Anyway the high political connections in Jordan and the iconic status of the princess there may in themselves be enough so that bin Rashid might think twice about if or how he decides to retaliate past writing poetry on social media. From the linked piece it sounds like it's the sons of one of the Dubai ruler's other wives that are so wired up over the "insult" to the ruler committed by the princess having left and taking her kids with her.

Haya's successful escape with her kids was likely not an easy thing to arrange and only someone pretty powerful would have dared to give her a hand with it. Hence the outrage, the idea that one monarch might so insult another over this matter. But even the anger expressed by bin Rashid's older sons might in the end be pro forma... after all, Haya and the two half-siblings now gone from Dubai present far less of a threat to those guys' own future prospects. Sure, if they "somehow" ended up permanently out of the picture, that would be even more convenient, but far riskier from Dubai's point of view considering the likely retaliation from Jordan.
